Bonus! Two for the price of one! The multi-talented artist Jochen Gerner really spoils his readers: As well as getting down to some coloring, you'll have to play at join the dots before you start.
Perched on their rocks like mini sculptures, the subjects appear as their lines are connected. Clues for the most curious: wildlife from the prairies and our gardens...vehicles... and a few oddities? 1, 2, 3... On your marks! Draw!

Jochen Gerner

Jochen Gerner was born in 1970, in Nancy (France), where he lives and works today. He is both author and illustrator, belonging to the OuBaPo collective. He principally became know by his work in the press (Le Monde, Les Inrocks, the New York Times). Gerner has produced a number of examples of graphic experimentation taking their inspiration from the IKEA catalogue or rooted in the medium itself; reworking Hergé's Tintin In America. His stylised lines, his unusual use of typography, serve as the basis for his fine observational skills that remain rooted in indiscipline. The artist is published by L'Association, Automne 67, and L'Ampoule. Accepted into the world of contemporary art, his drawings and acrylic paintings on paper have been exhibited in galleries, museums (Comic Strip at Sérignan) and belong to several private and public collections; Antoine de Galbert, FNAC, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, the Mudam in Luxembourg.
